Sun Piercing The Sky Lord's Armada
The great Thunder-bearing Cloud-Ships of the Sky Lord's Armada passed silently over head with ominous intent. A violent storm was brewing in the heavens, and the creatures of the earth began to scurry for cover. Suddenly, a blue patch opened above. The creatures paused and looked upward. Then, the High and Mighty Sun beamed through the Sky Lord's Flag-Ship with a Ray of Brilliant Golden Light, and the Cloud-Ships were thrown into disarray. It was not long thereafter that the Sky Lords retreated, the Armada defeated, and the blue heavens were calm once again. Only a strong wind remained behind to remind one and all that the Sky Lords would not forget, and planned to return again some day soon.

Fat Cat
Once upon a time there was a fat cat who lived under the sun and moon. He was very friendly, but most of his little friends somehow wound up in his mouth. Even so, he had a nice personality, and after all, cats do have to eat you know. Lately, one of his new friends gave him a very smart little Christmas gift. A silver bell for his collar. Now, whenever Fat Cat tries sneaking up behind his little friends they hear him coming and politely scurry away. In a little while they come back with a tray of cheese and crackers, a bottle of wine, and lots of little Christmas cookies, and they share it all with Fat Cat, who never ate so well. And so everyone had a very Merry Christmas after all.
Moral of the story: Even when confronted by our basest natural instincts, those who delight in good works and kind deeds manage to overcome and spread happiness, prosperity and joy wherever they go.

Birthday Abstraction
It was my friend's birthday and he's the sort of person who I felt would really appreciate a bit of artwork as for his birthday. So instead of hunting around in a mall, or giving an amazon.com gift card, I thought I'd take a chance and try my hand at doing an abstract. I don't usually do abstract art, so it was a bit of a challenge. I decided that I would keep it simple, and see how it goes. All along the way I fretted, huffed and puffed, and struggled with it thinking it was not good enough. Until the end. When I finally stood back and looked at it in a nice black frame ... I said, "oh, that does look nice after all!" And so I gave it to him yesterday. I think he really likes it! :)

Memory of Summer
Petals, like lips painted with a thousand warm hues, wrap gently around my memories of the warm and breezy summer past. How lovely are my memories of :E & :B, dancing through life with carefree dreams and star-touching laughter.

BadAss Bunny Haircut
They just don't cut hair like that every day you know. BadAss Bunny is very proud of himself. Damn great cut! Don't worry, he'll be out of prison very soon. :)

Turtles Racing to the Street Fair
Mr. Turtle and his friends were eager to get to the Street Fair, waddling along as fast as their little legs could carry them while whistling a merry little tune. Even the owls joined in, calling "whooo", "whooo", "whooo" as they fluttered by. Meanwhile, in the distance we could hear wooden toads croaking gleefully as they raced in from Dreamland with huge sky-bounding leaps. Only bunny and wolf were faster, and got there ahead of everyone else, as always. It was such great fun, the whole crew had a lovely time of it all!

The Sky Queen Combs Her Hair
The ride home this afternoon caught :B by surprise. "What amazing looking clouds!" he thought. So he took some pictures in order to share the interesting scene. "Looks like Sky Queen is coming her hair!?" he thought. Then it was time to get some food. :)

:E & :B Enjoying Time Together
It was one year later, and the two dreamers enjoyed each others company still. Most of the time they played silly games, chasing the moon, and wishing on stars. It had been a magically beautiful time. "If I live for 10,000 lifetimes, I hope always to remember this wonderful year with you," said :B. "Don't think too much," replied :E serenely.
Sunrise Crossing the Whitestone
It was a beautiful warm November morning (rare) as :B crossed the Whitestone bridge on the way home. Lovely indeed. Here is an over-the-shoulder view from the mid-span of the Whitestone facing East to catch the dawn. Sneaky shot, but it worked out nicely.

Three Sights At the Street Fair
Our two heroes took a pleasant stroll one evening through the mystical precincts of the Street Fair on 14th Street in NYC. It was warm for November and quite pleasant. They had a nice time together, laughing and nibbling on what the great city had to offer.

Edge of the City at Dusk
It was just getting dark when the young hero entered the edge of the city from the north. As the day was one of portentous mystical energies it was not entirely surprising to see the heavens filled with cloudly animals marching in a star-strewn parade over head.

Fishy Monster
Once in a while Love Monster liked to go for a swim in the deepest seas of Dreamland, just to see who he might meet there. When he would do that he put on his favorite swimming outfit and would transform at once into Fishy Monster. He had wonderful friends in the deepest sea, and wherever he went the other monsters were always nice to him. That is because he was nice to them, and would give a little smile and acknowledge them politely. And as it turns out, when you are nice, even to monsters, they may be nice to you in return. This is Love Monster's big secret, which he never wants to keep secret but always tries his best to explain to everyone. But monsters being as they are seldom listen to Fishy Monster's advice. It's ok though. He still has a nice time anyway.
Love Monster
Once upon a time in Dreamland there lived a wondrous beast named Sleep Monster. Well, she was quite an amazing creature, full of shaggy black fur, and pillows, and so very comfy to lay down on. Anyway, this is not a picture of Sleep Monster... it is a picture of her very dear pet named Love Monster. He was very cute in a brutish and ferocious sort of way, but she liked him just the same. And so Sleep Monster and Love Monster lived happily in Dreamland together for a long, long time.
